I'm an industrial designer at MSA Safety, where I design safety equipment for firefighters. My background is in consulting, which took me across a huge range of industries and product types. I’ve not only had the opportunity to design products, but also the machines that manufacture those products.

I care deeply about design craft and visual communication. Whether I'm roughing out early concepts or refining details late in development, I make sure not to lose sight of the big picture. At the end of the day, my goal is to make useful things for people.

I got my BFA in Industrial Design from Carnegie Mellon University, with a minor in Intelligent Environments.

When I’m not designing, you can find me working on my car or exploring the outdoors, whether hiking, skiing, or climbing.
